Marc Diagonale

Mr. Diagonale is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of Engine Capital Management, LP. Prior to joining Engine Capital in 2014, Mr. Diagonale was the Chief Financial Officer of SLZ Capital Management LLC, an alternative fund investment advisor, from 2011 to 2014. Prior to joining SLZ Capital, Mr. Diagonale was a consultant and Integration Manager for JPMorgan Chase & Co. in their Treasury and Securities Services (TSS) division. From 2003 to 2009, Mr. Diagonale was Director of Operations for Silver Point Capital, L.P., an alternative fund investment advisor. From 2001 to 2003, Mr. Diagonale was Controller for Whitney & Company, LLC, a private equity and alternative fund investment advisor, where he headed up Whitney’s Structured Products Group. From 2000 to 2001, he was Controller for Katonah Capital, LLC, a majority-owned subsidiary of Kohlberg & Co. From 1993 to 2000, Mr. Diagonale was Vice President of Gabelli Funds, Inc. heading up their Closed End Fund Group. 

Mr. Diagonale holds a BA in Economics from Georgetown University and an MBA with a double major in Finance and International Business from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business of New York University.
